More rain on Friday may produce more mushrooms by Sunday!

MAW’s foray chair, Jon Ellifritz will lead a mushroom identification foray on Sunday, October 23 in Maryland west of the I 270 Spur starting at 10:00 AM.  Non-MAW members on MAWDC Meetup may participate, subject to online payment of $5 per person charge (or becoming a member of MAW online).  

After registration you will immediately receive an email with meeting place directions.  MAW members should have already received detailed directions. 

Lots of hen of the woods (Maitake) coming up now.  Probably honey mushrooms, oyster mushrooms; possibly lion's mane.  (So many interesting mushrooms seen at last weekend's foray that the group didn't make it to far into the woods there was so much to talk about.)
